Hangouts

Useful integration into existing G Suite services, but UI could use some more work.

Hangouts UI can be a bit clunky, but its integration into Chrome browser and its integration into Gmail make it easy for new users in our company to adopt. I would suggest the Hangout UI feature messaging and file sharing more, as we find that during conference calls, we usually share links, code, and files. A code friendly editor that support markdown might be a niche ask, but it would be very useful for developers.

Great integration. Easy to use.

So easy to use. Always right there alongside Chrome. Provides notifications and allows me to stay in constant communication with my team.

Google Hangouts? Good for Business?

The overall experience for the google hangouts has been a good one.

Hangouts

Nice feature set with underdeveloped functionality and frequent call drops

Google offers robust feature set that meets most of our needs. However, we are still considering other vendors for our communications because Google doesn't make call/session recording and sharing as easy as it should be and since the system suffers from consistent call drops and freezes, particularly on global calls.

Google Hangouts Adoption - No looking back!

Our experience has been great. We were able to consolidate multiple software services into one provider and have not looked elsewhere since implementation.

Hangouts

Bundled, generally ubiquitous, but a little closed.

The workforce is not accustomed to a browser only experience and lack of integration with best of breed messaging clients is problematic.

Hangouts

Implementation was easy, but we are looking for a solution that is fully featured.

Needs more features.
