    Google Hangouts Adoption - No looking back!

    Our experience has been great. We were able to consolidate multiple software services into one provider and have not looked elsewhere since implementation.

    What one piece of advice would you give other prospective customers?

    Consider the integration of existing mailboxes prior to fully integrating.

    What do you like most about the product or service?

    Constantly evolving and improving, has a ton of options that we still haven't even begun to integrate yet. It's mobile and works for both iOS and Android.

    If you could start over, what would your organization do differently?

    It's been smooth sailing.

    Bundled, generally ubiquitous, but a little closed.

    The workforce is not accustomed to a browser only experience and lack of integration with best of breed messaging clients is problematic.

    What one piece of advice would you give other prospective customers?

    Make sure that your workforce is content with working in the browser, notably chrome.

    What do you like most about the product or service?

    Ubituity.

    What do you dislike most about the product?

    Reliance on the browser.

    What one thing do you wish the vendor did differently?

    Made the APIs more open to allow for more client experiences.

    If you could start over, what would your organization do differently?

    There is a lot of interest toward moving to a more best of breed messaging solution.

    Very easy to implement, however there needs to be more awareness of the accessibility.

    Go for it!

    Its accessible and inexpensive and free for people who telecommute to download on their home computers.

    What do you dislike most about the product?

    Nothing.

    What one thing do you wish the vendor did differently?

    N/A.

    If you could start over, what would your organization do differently?

    NA, very low learning curve.

    Product capabilities - overall comment

    I love hangouts ability to share screens - a lot of my coworkers and I telecommute and often use this to share screens, etc. love the product. No need to set up WebEx or take screen shots and email large files when you need a quick answer after someone looks at something for you.

    Although the tool is straight forward, the assistance from the vendor is not.

    Ask for your discounts. They do exist.

    Needs more vendor support.

    The licensing and pricing model is a bit confusing when you scale up. Especially for larger number of licenses and potential discounts.

    If you could start over, what would your organization do differently?

    Take into account the different generations using the tool. Younger workforce starts using it much faster than older work force. That may play a different role in your rollout.

    Response for support on their regular forums is slow in comparison with other products.

    Easy cloud solution to implement. It is recommended to use a 3rd party to assist with infrastructure integration (SSO, AD, etc.).

    The client PC side requires more memory/cpu than anticipated to drive the video.

    Quick and easy to use.

    What do you dislike most about the product?

    Resources that the application takes when running. Better quality desktop/window sharing.

    If you could start over, what would your organization do differently?

    Do more performance testing from the client side.
