5 out of 5.0, Reviewed Apr 12, 2016
Right off the bat, the tool is intuitive and easy to use. The learning curve is very small because of how clean and organized the tool is, which is rare when you think about how complex and time-consuming it is to fully learn how to use a new CMS system. The Built.io team is phenomenal to work with. They really understood our needs. Their support and accessibility gave us peace of mind. and the training and onboarding process were thorough.
There are two things that should be considered when selecting a new CMS tool. First, I can't express enough how important it is to evaluate the long-term scalability of a CMS tool. You'd be making a grave mistake by choosing a cheaper/free solution, which will save you money in the short term initially, but will be extremely costly in the long run as your business grows and you need to add additional pages, websites, and microsites. Planning ahead for increased traffic will ensure you don't have to switch to a new CMS. Perhaps most importantly, make sure you adopt a solution that doesn't require a skilled user or programmer to implement basic changes. Your CMS tool should be intuitive and allow marketers to make basic changes, like swapping out a text, updating an image, removing a link, etc. without having to hire a costly outside developer to make the updates.
Having the flexibility to easily customize the tool's functionalities to exactly fit our needs was really nice.
The tool has everything we need today and in the foreseeable future.
Built.io has been in the integration services business for over 9 years. They have their own full-featured integration platform (Built.io Flow). There is no other CMS vendor we conisdered who could match the breadth and depth of Built.io's integration capabilities. With their extensive experience and in-house tools, they were an obvious choice for us.
