Welcome
Digital Universe changes the Business paradigm, accelerating commerce and speed up consumer's needs; clients want to buy products from everywhere in the world, day and night, with the device they prefer, using the payment method of their choice and, all of this, in a personalized and responsive design environment! In that context Business knows major transformations; e-merchants need to organize themselves to sell their products and services internationally; Marketplaces are more and more essential in this global economy but face increasingly regulations and complex financial reconciliations; depending on their culture, consumers have different habits in terms of payments methods and abandon their shopping carts if the merchant doesn't propose a panel of localized payment methods; this is a challenge for payment methods suppliers too because in line for the internationalization, APMs need to be connected with all types of ecommerce sites whatever their sizes, industry and the technology they use; from their part PSPs need to be more reactive providing better service by adding APMs effortlessly, enable services for bespoke requirements, manage financial flow easily; etc.

Analysis
What You Need to Know
Technology-related issues are a top strategic business priority for the next two years for 25% of CEOs, behind only growth, according to the "2015 CEO Survey: Committing to Digital" (see also Figure 1 below). This is the highest position ever recorded in the survey for the category, highlighting the importance of technology and the manner in which it is being used to solve business problems and define business strategies. Expectations are high for revenue attributed to digital business, of which digital commerce is a key component. The 2015 CEO survey notes that digital revenue is expected to double to 41% by 2019. The expected growth rate was similar across industries, including B2B sectors. Digital commerce is a core component of revenue for businesses, and investments specifically in digital commerce should continue to grow.
To support the continued growth of revenue from digital initiatives, 63% of CEOs intend to increase investment in information technology and digital capabilities in 2015. Intent to increase investment in these categories was up across the board this year, confirming that CEOs are bullish about investing in their businesses for growth.
