Salient Management Company is rolling out a 4-phase user training protocol designed to create a smooth transition from legacy reporting techniques to modern, drill-down investigative capabilities. The process includes assistance in the re-creation of familiar high priority report perspectives used by the specific client company, as well as recommendations for additional value-added analysis; on-site training tailored to each role; client's choice of about 20 pre-defined courses, some with pre-requisites; and follow-up remote assistance to support adoption.
In Phase 1 of the program, Salient will work with the client's senior managers to define priorities for tracking business performance, and to identify advanced users to work with Salient on building appropriate Bookmark and Dashboard content to ensure quick ROI and strong adoption.
During Phase 2, Salient's Outcome Support Specialists will work remotely with advanced users on bookmarks and content to be used by knowledge-workers. "This approach helps to ensure the most productive use of on-site time, and supports a higher confidence level for users who are new to a flexible, interactive data discovery platform like Salient's," says
Jim McDermott, Salient's Director of Outcome Support. The bookmarks will be tailored to specific roles and decision-support needs.
The on-site sessions in Phase 3 will provide users with business training necessary to leverage the power of the Salient application to identify opportunities to improve productivity and profitability based on the root cause analysis bookmarks created in Phase 2.
In Phase 4, Salient's Outcome Support Team will follow up with the trainees to assess the roll-out and user adoption, and to discuss options such as incentive-based performance.
