Does your CRM's customer data include their history (phone, email, address etc)?
What tool(s) are you using for SQL Server Database Monitoring (besides just SSMS)? Specifically, I am wanting the following features:
- Alerting with possibility of sending a ticket to Service Now
- Deadlock alerts
- SSIS Job Failures
- Query Optimization Recommendations
- SQL Server Optimization Recommendations
- Point in time report to see what was being ran during a certain period of time
- Other features?
What have been your experiences with using OData with Java and/or .Net?
Does anyone have some proven successful experience with using either in-house-built or off-the-shelf Test Data Management processes and tools? As we are looking to mature our SDLC - we are focusing on shortening our lead time for delivery. We are at the point where we recognized the value proposition in this area, and investigating and identifying some of our next experiments related.
We are in the middle of a modernization process of our monolith core application (banking) that is based on Informix and aiming to replace 4GL codes with Java, and create a multi tier architecture at the same time. For peers who have successfully migrated from Informix database, what was your strategy (port, transform, rewrite, replace)? How did you get rid of your 4GL codes (we have 1+ million lines) Have you used any tool to transform your 4GL codes to your targeted programming language? How did you avoid completely rewriting your legacy application from scratch?
What has your experience been when reviewing 3rd party vendor innovation/solutions, not just the pitch (which I am sure was mind blowing) but actually looking under the hood at the tech: For the most part, has it been:
