I’d highly recommend having 3 or even 4 cards that do not (emphasize DO NOT) have annual fees. If you were to lose your job it’s a good idea to have a free safety net. For your primary card though the advice depends. When I travel a lot for work I use my CITI AA card to get points and I try to always fly AA. That card has an annual fee but points are worth it. All other cards have zero fees. I’d also recommend Discover Card. Just my “two cents”
Ps Never carry a balance. Always pay off the card in full every month
Credit cards works like magic if you know to use one, else its the worst thing too.
Good to have 2 really good ones, dont mind ones with annual fees but gives you the support and services you need
