Not until ChatGPT's information access is updated to the present.

Anyone can win. It will depend on data (relevance of results more than quantity) but also on the vertical integration of underlying hardware (chips) that many of these companies are exploring. Longer term data will be available and quality, performance and energy consumption (reduction) will be factors to determine what solution is the winner.

GPT uses current online material to synthesize material for the user asking the question. Over a period of time it’s gets smarter by accumulating information to synthesize better. With Bard, Google will leverage decades of information already in its data base to synthesize data from past and present to provide to user. GPT definitely has opened the doors for more GAI applications but Bard will lead the pack in the long run. Bard will outrun many, and also with Googles Quantum computer project Bard will overtake everyone by light years. Again, my prediction and I don’t hold Google stocks to state this. Although, I am buying Google stocks as we speak because the future of Google with Bard is a “second movers advantage”.

Google is set to release Bard, so I answered no.  However, ChatGPT is the fastest platform to 100m users.  It is going to be interesting to watch it play out.
