Does anyone have any experiences using a "hybrid" architecture for data presentation layer (PBI), connecting to a data lake on AWS or GCP? Is there any PBI functionality that is lost when connecting to non-Azure clouds?

PowerBI doesn't care if it's connecting to Azure, GCP, or AWS, on premise. You're just going to pay for egress costs on GCP and AWS. PowerBI is also generally awful with direct query no matter the database. So, ...read more

For those who have been through the journey, what has your experience been on the following? Its a very good tool for HR to manage employee lifecycle journey. Its going to give tough competition to tolls like workday. Our experience of using the tool has been wonderful.
