From a “User Experience “ perspective I have almost never had a good Chatbot experience from a business I was considering doing business with. The chats were frustrating and totally useless
AT&T, Spectrum Cable, various stores, all disappointing. Hopefully AI like CHATGPT start to improve it. Companies will need to load a lot of data and train, but for now as a user I hate them

Great point Chris, at the moment the technology is still in its infancy. I think with the new GenAI ChatBots are becoming better ever month, as they can tap into huge large language models and datasets, to give more accurate and timely answers. Additional to this, I did read some recent research that people prefer to use chatbots when there is no one to talk to at all. However, enterprises should closely monitor their use and see if they add value and do not damage the customer or brand experience.
