In your in-house role, have you found it difficult to transition to the corporate environment? (For example: overall business acumen, understanding business priorities, cultural dynamics, communication across the enterprise, and balancing legal risk against the business's need for risk)

Great points, as usual!

Transitioning to in-house also presented a significant learning curve for me. One of the most surprising aspects was the sheer volume of meetings and additional responsibilities that filled my schedule. These commitments often consumed so much of my day that I found myself struggling to find time for my core duties, which I considered my "real work."
Super interesting Lisa, thanks for sharing. With regard to changing your mindset, was it due to moving from a role that required more of an adversarial approach toward one that was more collaborative?
I would not characterize my transition as difficult. I would characterize it as somewhat surprising. I knew there would be a learning curve. I did not realize I would need to change my mindset and how I approached my work and how I worked with my internal business partners.
