There are some aspects of getting back to basics: on executive leadership, influence, business fundamentals, certainly. But not on old fashioned IT-serves-the-business in engine room IT. If we are not innovating, imho, and leading digitalisation  (which is not the same as automation) cultural change, and coaching business technology implementation, then we fall behind in performance.
