For me the primary purpose of Internal Audit Department is to ensure that the organization is going (forward) towards their set strategic goals in a controlled, effective, and efficient manner.

Whether it is compliance with laws and regulations, identify and mitigate operational and information risks, assess and improve the effectiveness of internal controls, and/or providing assurance to stakeholders on financial reporting.

I’m working on developing a scalable onboarding process for new hires within our Tech, Data, and AI organization (about 1,000 people). The goal is to create a consistent and engaging experience that begins when a new hire receives their offer letter and continues through their first day.
