Being fully engaged when you are trying to be present at a conference and you have client, family, etc needs happening. It's only natural that all kinds of problems start when you are going to be out of pocket for 2 days. Kids get sick, clients have challenges that they need urgent support with. It's just the way it goes. Anyone else know what I mean??? Making sure that you have clear intention around why you are attending the event and getting the most out of it is key to make that trade off of choosing to be away vs. in the day to day.

Interesting, Surely if you attend that many conferences the answer has to be Family.

Or are we all to busy being busy.

I know for me that once my 3 children grow up, that’s it they have grown up. VS going to another boring SAP conference ( to be dazzled by the bright lights and fancy speakers, in the hope to either sell something to you or buy something from you.
