I haven't used OwnBackup but have heard of it and am also planning to use it in future.
By enabling organizations to automate the backup process and restore the precise data they need in minutes, OwnBackup’s solutions will help Dynamics 365 customers run more business-critical workloads while eliminating the risk of data loss.

We have analyzed it with our system integrator. Finally we opted for a broader solution to unify the backup of Office 365 with Dynamics 365. The fewer backup systems, the better...
If OwnBackup solves all your backup needs, it is an option.

Although I haven't used it yet, my research on it led me to discover some advantages of using it, including its overall ease of setup, very user-friendly user interface, protection against losing mission-critical data and metadata, quick, stress-free recovery, and excellent alert functions. It complies with the GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, SEC 17a-4, and other laws. However, there are some drawbacks as well, such as the amount of storage space is needed for data backups and how expensive it is to maintain.

We are running a PoC and initial feedback from team is very good, it takes care of automated backups and recovery of Salesforce data, avoiding human errors. Good tool

OwnBackup is a much needed automated backup in the cloud for organizations of enterprise SaaS cloud data and metadata -- to a cloud outside of the SaaS vendor's cloud.

This tool should be on everyone's radar.

There are other independent (of the SaaS vendor) third party backup solutions for SaaS applications and clouds such as Salesforce and Microsoft for the duly diligent not wishing to be completely reliant on their SaaS vendor for data loss protection.

We did experiment on it, but have not decided to pursue its use. But OwnBackup in our testing it helps a lot in backup and recovery. Now the part that interests me is Automation, which is as important as backup itself.

No. I will check and evaluate.

I haven’t used but have heard about it and seen some features which looks to be exciting but post thorough evaluation it can be looked at.

Without a doubt - Technical Debt! It's a ball and chain that creates an ever increasing drag on any organization, stifles innovation, and prevents transformation.
