What application do you use to keep track of your M365 Sharepoint tenant's size growth? Native tools or 3rd parties? If 3rd party, which one?

We use native tools offered by Microsoft Admin center and Power Platform CoE Starter Kit. Provides all the insights into usage, data, and governance aspects of managing the tenant.

There are 3rd party tools like ShareGate , Metalogix, etc. but it’s really good enough to use native Microsoft provided tools which provide all data insights you may need. These 3rd party tools are useful if you want an easy to use UI that run packaged PowerShell CLI actions.

Always have used the native tools, they've been good enough for our needs (including the last 3 companies I've been a part of).

We have no application, from time to time we will look into the admin console and then we monitor the fullness of the disks on the DB.

I'm interested in reporting and insights. Aggregated Sharepoint size growth in TB. Growth over time. Breakdown into top sites, content types. Highlighting redundant files, unused content... so that it informs remedial actions.
