Designing a central intake process for our organization's Data division that will facilitate all requests, work distribution, communications, questions, monitoring, and reporting across our teams and stakeholders.  Does anyone have any experience in this type of process design in their org? What's worked, what hasn't?

It works and mainly helps in organising and prioritising things. In addition to that it helps during time of audit.
Also, once a process is setup. In case of big organisation it helps in maintaining sanity that no part of process gets missed which is a usual problem in many cases especially when users wish to take some part live in earliest possible way these issues may occur

My company has implemented this type of process, and initially we faced many problems, like the lack of clear categorization and prioritization of requests, the lack of standardized request forms, and inadequate documentation and training for stakeholders.

but we have overcome all problems through regular evaluation and adjustments.

Few things that have worked - Streamlined process, better sync up, easy to track changes, defining ownerships, better visibility on the task allocation, work progress.

That haven't worked/ - Adaptbility is challenge, People use the bare minimum of the system that helps them with their work, don't put efforts to explore the things that can help them and aren't aware
