Has anyone seen or developed a maturity model for cloud programs?  There are plenty for maturity models CI/CD, but I'm looking for something broader that is inclusive of how well financial optimization and organizational change management are handled.  Thanks in advance!

Hi Rahul,
There are definitely products out there that address this, but not sure any at the level you're requesting. Have you looked at the AWS product (assuming you're on AWS)?

I believe Gartner has a maturity model but I don’t think it’s free.

AWS actually wrote something a few years back specific to this topic, although I'm not sure it completely answers your questions...

The closest one you can probably use for now is the CCM from CSA.

% utilization has to be a part of financial optimization as well as service availability. Understanding root cause for any outage, and ensuring that the right corrective action is taken to drive down defects has to be part of the model.

This is a pretty broad qustion. Are you asking about a maturity model for building cloud applications? Or a maturity model to evaluate cloud applications? I would suggest that you look at the Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI). https://cmmiinstitute.com

Without a doubt - Technical Debt! It's a ball and chain that creates an ever increasing drag on any organization, stifles innovation, and prevents transformation.
