We are embracing data as a product, which means that every team that produces data is responsible for the quality of their data. As an organization, we are still too small to offer a platform team that can help on those issues

We have not, mostly because it's hard and we haven't made it a priority. I think you're on the right track for trying to get there, it is truly among those things considered "holy grail".

As for consolidation, I'd look for what's work / what are the best qualities of each of the programs and see where logical synergies line up.

My ESG team uses a dedicated application to consolidate indicators for external reporting. This system manages a workflow where a designated owner submits data and a validator approves it. However, the process is heavily manual and lacks system integration. With upcoming regulations like CVM 193 in Brazil, the pressure for accurate, auditable, and timely ESG data is intensifying, and our current tool is being questioned.
