I have been through Three IPOs in three stock exchanges in three different countries
It’s a lot of work, Complience to meet and internal and external Auditors to deal with
But overall it’s always great benefits to follow best practices and someone external to try to show you your blind spot
It took a while until you understand how Auditor think

I have seen two companies through IPOs. I would say our success came from knowing how to partner with other departments well. For example, we really partnered with product management and engineering during the IPO process to make sure our products and processes we were in the best shape.

When it comes to IPOs, you cannot have the mentality that these are IT things and those are not. IT supports critical business capabilities that you have to have for our customers to be able to confidently trust us.
