How many months would you expect it to take for a implementation of Workday in a company with +10.000 employees in more than 15 counties?

How many modules are you planning to launch, the full suite of ALL models or only HCM and some talent modules. My recommendation is to a phased approach and for a period of 2 years. If your core HCM module is not well set up, all your other modules will suffer and HR will pay the price as the end user experience won't be good. Make sure you prioritize the modules that really make a difference, some modules might be more nice to have. I did not do it with WD but with some SuccessFactors modules and I would 2 years, particularly if you have manufacturing plants, unions and works councils on your path. Strive for simplification and the 'right first time'. Doing all modules in one year is impossible and you will take short cuts to get over the finish line and the consequences are big and can damage the reputation of HR while you were striving for simplification.
It depends on the size of the change including how many modules, whether you’ll be customising or focusing on out of the box and also whether you’re looking to change processes within the organisation. If for example you have a lot of differences across countries and sites with the way you work you’re going to need additional time to scope the change, engage stakeholders in the why, develop the new standard work, system configuration and then change management and training on the new way of working.
Weee going through an implementation and are a similar size organisation ie 24 countries and circa 14k ee’s. I would guess it’ll be 3 years from kick off to end of hyper care.
