In the age of continuously growing business risks and likelihood from cybercrime, how do you see AI, Machine Learning (bounded with SmartGrids) and Industrial Control systems working?

Well, for starters am hoping I understand question correctly.1. First some basics, since this is an evolving (Not mature yet) area. Leverage AI /ML to address the below:Identity Access ControlsData ControlsProcess ControlsBy clearly understanding the current state of where/what kind of controls exist, key data that is owned/ (how much is PII etc/ risk is calibrated) and operational /regulatory burden is understood.2. Leverage target state to decide what rules are candidates for AI/ML....there is lots of preparatory work to ensure the data is de-duped, cleansed before we feed it into ML algorithms.3. There is a need for oversight, analytics and reporting on how well this is working/ and gaps including audit-ability.Hope this helps.

While I’m not familiar enough with ICS to have an opinion or advice about it, regarding AI and ML, is your concern about securing these kind of platforms or securing from these kind of platforms?
