Cost Benefit Analysis. As the economy slows, CFO's are going to be asking for verification that the proposed savings by going to the cloud were realized. In my experience, it was very hard to predict the costs, because they vary greatly as you scale up or down the size of the platform. I think 2023 will cause a lot of groups to "right-size", by looking at their utilization, and realize the engineers were a bit optimistic on how many people would be using their Cloud, and will be able to scale it down and reduce costs.Content you might like
