I am an IT Auditor at a regional Bank. We are evaluating our timeline to get coverage across our entire Audit Universe. Currently, we aim to obtain coverage across our entire Audit Universe in about 3 - 3.5 years (As in we will perform audits over all auditable entities in our environment in this timeframe). I was wondering what the time frame for full Audit Universe coverage is at other regional banks? Even if you don't work at a regional bank or even in the financial industry, can anyone tell me how long it takes at your company to cover the entire Audit Universe (if you even cover the entire universe at all)?
