Has your organization, particularly if you are in the public sector or operate in a similar regulatory environment, successfully navigated the process of establishing a Digital Transformation Office?

Very similar to Andrew, at the County the IT Project Management Office leads any digital transformation capital projects approved by our board of commissioners. We have a major effort underway right now but no dedicated office. The County also has a Director of Strategic Initiatives but this role does not specifically focus on Digital Transformation.

Technically, we have a Project Portfolio of which the lead is titled Digital Transformation program manager; we have not specifically seen it as a function, such as the office of the CIDO or CTO.   Noting that we do have an office of the CIDO.  Hope this helps.
