I don't think there's anything out there yet that provides exactly what we need to collaborate remotely, and I don't know if it'll ever happen. Maybe in the metaverse you could do something that is closer to in-office collaboration, but I don't think it's ever going to be the way it is in the office.

I don't think anything exists yet - especially something as effective and simple as a group of people around a whiteboard. Simplicity (or maybe transparency) is key - too much software inpedes this simplicity in the pursuit of features.

That said, there is a multi-user VR collaboration tool I really like called Noda, though I do not have enough colleagues with headsets to make it effective for me.
