Currently we are using it for entities that have hierarchical relationships. We found that it works well for tracking semantic knowledge relationships in our case for customers.
Our customers are multi-tiered, with multiple parent and child relationships up to 5 hierarchies deep. Storing information in a knowledge graph gives us an easy way to visualize these relationships and helps with performance versus a traditional RDBMs.
