We are thinking about using some form of assessment to measure critical thinking/reasoning skills. Does anyone have a recommendation or are using something like this?

Yes - we are using a tool for Care Coordinator roles that assesses those skills and others; it has heled us improve time to fill and reduce the number of recruiters supporting those roles.
Here are two recommendations.
The Hogan Business Reasoning Inventory (HBRI) report measures critical reasoning in a business context to predict occupational success. The report evaluates qualitative and quantitative reasoning for selection and development purposes. The Hogan tool can be used in conjunction with the other Hogan personality tools, so I would recommend it over the Watson Glaser.

The Watson Glaser critical thinking test is a unique assessment that provides a detailed analysis of a participant’s ability to think critically.
