What are the tools for CloudOps vs DevOps?

First, you shouldn't think about those two cultural approaches as being driven by tools. Various tools, like the ones listed above, can help with the Automation and Measurement tenets of the culture(s), but you initially need to define what it is that you're trying to achieve. Having said that, at the base of the stack I would start with "Infrastructure as Code" and check out the offerings from Hashicorp (Packer, Terraform, ...). Happy to answer additional questions if you can provide more context around what you're trying to achieve.

We use ElasticSearch & Kibana ​for most of the event collection and mining. It is the first place we go to in order to investigate issues. We also use Zabbix for monitoring servers, databases and processes.In addition, there are also Ticketing Systems (Assembla), End User Monitors (NewRelic), Escalation Management Tools (PagerDuty), Slack (Group Alerts and Notifications) and a few others that are domain specific. A lot of the ops services are part of the cloud management solution like CDN (Amazon CloudFront).
