I will suggest to break down the cloud ops team across various sub teams with direct responsibilities including service management, service operations, new service onboarding, DevOps and tooling, cloud Infra management, platform services including monitoring and triaging (l1/l2). The CTO can decide on how to operationalize the same. However, many of the service management functions will be similar to the existing CTO functions and for cost efficiency, similar skill set resources could be utilized. Also, basis the implementation of the cloud provider, there could be additional process activities that could be added across the broader set of categories listed aboveb

Your CloudOps team should be responsible for running the virtual datacenter on the cloud. This includes the infrastructure (Example – the Firewalls, VMs and/or containers, and operating systems) as well as the applications.Lots of effort and energy goes into managing the cloud, patchworking, working on certifications, and partnering with DevOps to continuously move tasks into production. In addition, the CloudOps team should also have a 24/7 response team (NOC) which handles emergency procedures based on a runbook written by the operations team.

Looking for info/experiences working with agentic platform vendor, Yellow.ai. We have been working on procuring services with them for over a year and now it seems every contact we've been working with has left the company and replaced with new staff (and even some of them are now gone and have been replaced).

Historically, we ran WSO2 and BizTalk, tightly integrated with most of our systems. Recently we’ve shifted to Google Cloud Platform and we already replaced WSO2 with Apigee as our API management layer. Now that BizTalk is approaching retirement, we want to replace it as well – but we’re trying to determine the best approach in a GCP-centric architecture. A few questions for the group: Can we leverage Apigee capabilities to cover most (or all) of BizTalk’s integration/orchestration responsibilities? Or would you strongly recommend adopting an iPaaS to replace BizTalk’s integration workflows? Has anyone successfully implemented an alternative approach on GCP (other than iPaaS) that worked well in practice? If you have gone through this migration, what direction and reference architecture would you recommend? I would be very interested in hearing what you have implemented and what has worked well (or not well) in the real world. Thanks in advance!

Looking for CSPM platforms that allow writing of your own 'rules' instead of using canned rules in the platform - we were using CloudGuard but need to jump ship due to cost with the acquisition by WIZ. We are evaluating Tenable but it comes up short on every requirement we have.
