The architect in charge was an alcoholic, company managed to hid that from us. When he was drunk he would change all decisions made previously. He eventually had a car accident

A very large and well known software vendor had pitched a complete platform to us, a platform that hadn't been developed yet, it was nothing but a powerpoint deck. The sheer audacity of selling vaporware was astounding. (we didn't sign with them).
