Snowflake Cloud Data Platform and the role of Database Administrators? Snowflake seems to be an ever growing database platform and one requiring little or no database administration--or that's what I was led to believe. It appears that the role of a DBA is still required, but I'm not sure exactly what are the specific responsibilities of a DBA when it comes to supporting Snowflake. Anyone with DBA responsibilities--specifically, system or physical DBA--supporting Snowflake: how is this different/similar to what your DBAs do today with on-prem RDBMS/NoSQL/MPP/DWH or in public cloud instances such as Aurora?
