It is unlikely to replace the need for human data analysts entirely with AI because human analysts can bring domain and cross-functional/organisational expertise, ethical judgement, creativity and contextual understanding that AI currently lacks.
I see AI continue to augment human analysts and the collaboration between humans and AI will be a powerful combination in data / business analysis area.
In my opinion I don't think we still have the necessary controls to handle complex data scenarios that we see in most of the big organizations, so we still ways to go to replace humans by AI. As an e.g. companies are still struggling with DQ issues which still need human intervention today due to the complexities involved.
