Very likely a technical mistake made with good intentions. However if that is the case the timing was poor unless on a global view that change was made at the lowest typical use timeJust glad I didn’t approve that Change Control Ticket!!

By timing, are you referring to how quickly it comes after the Frances Haugen interview?
Absolutely. And building on Chris O's suggestion below, maybe it was a well-intentioned configuration change to improve network security against malicious intrusions, that was rushed into production because of the whistleblowing event. That would be excruciatingly ironic!
