For incentivization of Innovation by employees:   
1.  Does anyone have examples of incentives for Innovation/Intellectual Property development - financial rewards, plaques, or others?  What is typical for companies?
2. Is there any benchmarking of what percentage of companies employ such incentivization? 
3. Does anyone have examples that show how implementation of incentives for Intellectual Property, increased innovation (patents?)
4. Does anyone have examples of strategies for 'self funding' incentives for a given Intellectual Property initiative?  
5. Do companies have metrics or expectations of newer engineers coming into the workplace where IP incentives are expected and/or a 'delighter' for talent attraction/retention purposes?
