This is highly dependant on the size of the firm and IT group. When you are a $40 billion dollar 130k employee company you have enough diversity in the IT skills that complexity can be managed or tolerated. If your IT team is only 10 people, it's not likely you will have all the skills needed in a highly complex configuration, unless you outsource, but that outsourcing will be expensive which again, not good for a small firm.Content you might like
