How well do you believe your organization's business strategy aligns with its IT architecture?

I feel the question should be phrased the reverse - how does your IT strategy/architecture aligns with the evolving business strategy?

IT needs to work in close collaboration with business. This will enable IT to understand business strategy, business priorities and ultimately work out the right architecture to enable & deliver business needs. This requires a long term architectural view and fine tuning/realignment periodically as required. The element of trust is mandatory between Business and IT for this close collaboration to materialise.
