Interesting poll and I would have included a 'none of the above', or 'all of the above' and more to add insights to this question. At the end of the day this is a sector with limited choice of vendors where it can be argued you are more invested in stable core business processes working seamlessly than the opportunity to gain competitive advantage. ERP can become a money pit fast as we all know for very little gain. I would be interested to know if peers see changes coming in a big way in this area linked to changing technology and barriers to entry in coding large-scale solutions with good design?
