In the era of distributed cloud api based applications, I'd be interested hear hearing about people's experience with integrating and managing 3rd party api or platform changes within the context of your IT/Applications change management process. Do you centralize vendor notifications, are the risks assessed ahead of time, can you test beforehand etc... In theory those changes should be transparent but in reality it's still code and people make mistakes.

I'm working with MetricStream on a large pack of regular user licenses to access their M7 platform for vendor risk management. I wasn't fond of the written in 6% increases year over year in the offer, and when asked if that could be lower with a longer commitment, they only responded with a 3% counteroffer. Should I take the counteroffer? Is 6% cap something we should accept instead of locking in for 3 years? Looking for anyone who has worked on a deal with MetricStream in the past year. Thank you.

By far the best place for me to travel was Shanghai. Loved the city and the vibe. Singapore is also an amazing place to have to be stationed for work.
