We always have efficiency and productivity goals. However when we have sales shortfalls or economic problems those efforts take on higher priority and the reduction targets go up

Cost optimization is not a one time activity. It is in sync of automation transformation in all categories of technology and process driven projects or a team.

It should be taken positively which will ensure the department and organisation is smartly productive.
