Has anyone attempted to 'reboot' a struggling Data Governance Program?  I am starting a 2nd reboot effort.  If anyone has successfully done this, I would love to hear more or even connect.

I've done this successfully at a few organizations. I basically start by identifying the key data domains and identify who is involved. Find the primary business pain points for those domains and prioritize where to start. If we already have a DG manager, assess whether they are the right fit (they are the captain of the ship so if the program is failing, they may not have the skillset or the right level of influence). We also built a data governance playbook to help standardize and guide how different teams "turn on" data governance in their areas, which has helped. Plus, getting leadership to talk about the importance of high quality data, accountability, and the data governance program can give you more influence power to reboot. Happy to chat more!

We are happy to connect.   We are taking some time to *refresh* basically *reboot* - we realized the expectations with the business were not aligned and connecting it to topics like AI, automation and other digital capabilities was just not landing :-)
