Has anyone here used Alteryx or Knime?  Does anyone have opinions on either of those platforms?

while I haven't used Knime, I can say I liked Alteryx's ability to map out the steps, refine the steps as needed, and be able to email the Alteryx steps in a way for a client without Alteryx skills to use Alteryx for a business purpose. It was easy to explain to almost anyone (e.g., middle managers) what the Alteryx steps involved, because of the transparent mapping that reads like a flowchart.

We use Alteryx and have dabbled in Knime.  Alteryx is much more user friendly but licenses can be expensive and you can start using Knime for free.
