As CIO, what level of influence do you have on your company’s enterprise strategy?

It depends on the company culture and CEO/Board support. Been to many organizations, where CIO input is considered value and ICT is appreciated as an enabler to business, and in some organizations ICT is treated like a Backoffice operation and alienated from strategic discussion.

Some influence - there are definitely components of the strategy that are technology related.
