What Cisco cybersecurity courses would you recommend?
Head of IT and Security in Finance (non-banking), 51 - 200 employees
Cisco has the CyberOps program for SOC employees. I'm not sure if this is exactly what you are asking for. Or you can go specifically with network security CCNA and CCNP security... personally for cybersecurity I wouldn't look for Cisco, I'd go something more InfoSec. Consider CEH, CISSP and CISMDirector of IT in Education, 1,001 - 5,000 employees
The traditional CCNA would probably be a good place to start; a foundation for their platform. I feel it's important to not silo yourself with network related training. Knowledge or at least a functional awareness with aspects of networking that may cross paths with the cyber security realm, would eventually be valuable. Cybersecurity Essentials CIO in Healthcare and Biotech, 1,001 - 5,000 employees
Cyberops or a ccna security certification depending on job role. Good to augment with other external Certifications as well.Chief Operations and Technology Officer in Finance (non-banking), 51 - 200 employees
CISCO Cybersecurity EssentialsAssociate VP - Digital Technologies in Software, 501 - 1,000 employees
Would definitely recommend the following courses / certifications for the mid level engineers:- CCNA, CyberOps professional
Would also recommend CCNP Security.
But for emerging leaders and leaders, CCIE Security.

Depending on which focus you need - CCNA for a starter and then CyberOps Associate as next step.Director of IT in Education, 1,001 - 5,000 employees

As others have mentioned, the CCNA is a good start. But definitely think broader than just Cisco-specific training, if it applies to your situation. Make sure your skills apply across the board, not to just one vendor's products.Content you might like
