My few cents for core technologies and infrastructure investments for supporting AI capabilitues

- Source Data from apps and data store (seperating data warehouse, sturctured and unstructured data),
- Integration Layer with API Management / File Transfer / ETL,
- Hosting Layer with CPU/GPU machine, kubernetes, container, ML workspace, core infrastructure layer/services with firewall, gateway, active directory, DNS, SCCM, Load Balancer,
- AI Services Layer: Generative AI, Predictive AI (MLOps), Specialised AI (Bot, Search, CoPilot) etc.,
- If using Microsoft then 365 and GitHub licenses

The most important investment for AI is horizontal - Data Goverance, Data Privacy and Data Security.
