What does your data democratization tool stack look like? Have you found any tools that really compliment the people aspects of data democratization?

For toolsets, I think it's a combination of a solid data governance framework and technology matched with an intuitive BI solution like Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, etc...
Data governance is critical because without a properly structured data catalogue that employees can access and understand, data discovery becomes very challenging in a democratized organization. Having a solid data ownership/steward structure can also provide employees with someone to reach out to if they're interested in a data source in the catalogue and want to talk to an expert of that data. Governance tools like Informatica, MS Purview, Collibra, etc... can support this. With mature AI assistants coming (and here already) for data analysis, like Power BI Copilot, solid data governance and an agile data engineering practice will help your employees feel more empowered to work with structured data on their own.
Hope this helps :)
I suspect the answer depends on how you define 'data democratization' and how big or decentralized your company is. Do you mean giving people the ability to run their own reports? Define their own governance policies and data standards'? Do you mean allowing people to build their own data products? For most, I suspect data democratization means the ability to build their own reports - and if yes - then at a minimum for the average larger company I suspect you would need a great BI tool and all supporting data management tools, including a good data catalog and governance platform, a data integration tool, a DQ tool, and an MDM Platform.
