GenAI has definitely complemented our modernization efforts. We use it extensively for content creation for law firms. There's no strict mandate on its usage—if it accelerates development, our developers are encouraged to use it. However, the hype around generative AI does bring challenges, such as unrealistic expectations and a general lack of understanding of its limitations. We use it daily for both development and core business functions, but we're also very aware of issues like hallucinations, which can temper expectations.
In our case, generative AI isn't a central part of our application modernization plans yet. We're more in the exploratory phase, using tools like GitHub Copilot. About half of our engineers are utilizing it, and we're currently gathering feedback on its benefits. Our executive team is very interested in understanding how generative AI can be leveraged across different business areas. It's being experimented with in various departments, from revenue management to our call centers, but it's not yet a core component of our modernization strategy.
It's actually become a part of our modernization plans. Generative AI hasn't just complemented our efforts but has significantly propelled them. If you're not integrating generative AI currently, you're missing out. It's fascinating because this push isn't just coming from IT departments. Business peers, including CMOs and CFOs, are actively engaging and pushing for its adoption, asking about the tangible value it can bring and how soon we can realize that value. It's a pivotal moment; generative AI is definitely a part of our roadmap.
It complements our overall strategy. We've recently incorporated advanced security components alongside tools like GitHub Copilot. This integration is enhancing our security measures and aligns well with our broader strategic goals.
