Has anyone found a good replacement for MS Unified Support? What is your experience with the third party? Is it worth taking that route? Is the response time better/worse? the main purpose is obviously to save money.

I believe the first question you should ask to yourself is... What I don't like about?
I am satisfied for example.

Lot of hype but believe me, no one has a clear ideas about the real needs.
The use cases are a lot but when you ask for a list of requirements and expected goals... You don't get it
