Which tools/software do you recommend for business process mapping in your organization? I´d like to map the activities and the respective responsible in each one of them.

We map our processes in the "ADONIS BPM Suite" by the BOC group. It is not the most intuitive tool to work with, but it provides "swimlanes" to represent different departments, process step documentation including roles and RACI matrices, and logical gates and branches to allow for imaging of complex processes.
