How can Generative AI be used in Infrastructure Support Operations ?

We are a somewhat large IT Support Services organization supporting infrastructure. Being in government means we are generally not in the bleeding edge of technology implementations. Recently, we have been exploring various ways to support --

1. Interpreting customer requests and create automated tickets
2. Provide help through chat functionality from our KB repository in ServiceNow

Beyond the above, I don't think we are ready to trigger any provisioning that has financial implications. GenAI is not accurate often by definition and this is one area (i.e., provisioning resources) where hit and miss does not work.

I would be interested to know what you all end up with.
