We use essay or data sheet formats. These provide a concise, one-page summary that executives can quickly understand.

We incentivize our team to participate in storytelling. During our monthly town hall meetings, we have a "Tech Hero" award where stories are submitted, and I select the most valuable one. The winner receives a small voucher, which adds a bit of competition to encourage the best stories. Importantly, it's not just about the value of the story but also how well it is written.Technical people often struggle with writing stories that are accessible to non-IT individuals. So, we reward both the most valuable and the best-written stories. Additionally, team members can nominate colleagues for recognition, which helps us gather a variety of stories. While we can encourage people to write stories about particularly noteworthy projects, it's preferable when they take the initiative themselves.
